History of Kathy Van Zeeland
Kathy Van Zeeland worked for nine years at a major corporation, where she was responsible for their $200 million in sales. However, in 2004, Van Zeeland decided to leave that position to found her own handbag company, based on the ideals of high quality with trend setting style at an affordable price. Since its beginning, the Kathy Van Zeeland line has expanded into 1,300 stores across the country. Her bags, known for their signature prints and metallic finishes now rank among the top two or three brands in retail handbags.
Van Zeeland's pieces are priced under $100, allowing almost every woman access to her stylish and functional bags. Her sleek and smart designs are made in a variety of materials including camouflage, ultrasuede and various animal prints along with the signature metal finishes. All bags are made in-house, allowing for Van Zeeland to oversee the quality of all products. Recently, Van Zeeland has expanded her line to include belts and sunglasses.
