History of Hogan
Diego Della Valle is a larger than life Italian designer most notably known for his ready-to wear Tod's brand. More recently, he has appointed Thakoon Panichgul to be head designer of Hogan Handbags, an offshoot of the Hogan brand. Hogan handbags have the appeal of status and quality design and crafting. Some of Hogan's most famous bags are the "Big Weekend" bag from the fall 2004-2005 collection. This bag is available in a variety of colors and sports a single strap duffle design with lots of room to store everything a woman may need. The "Big Weekend" handbags also have silver detailing and white stitching and sell for $1,500. Another note worthy bag is the "Happine." The "Happine" is also from the fall 2004-2005 collection and is available in red, blue and white with leather trimmed front pockets, leather tassels and metal hardware. The "Happine" begins at $680, and is also available in a "smooth" version in black or gold-finished leather with silver-ringed hardware.
