About Chinese Laundry
Founded in 1971 by Robert and Carol Goldman, Chinese Laundry began as Cels Enterprises, a private woman's footwear company. Cels expanded its company from that of a manufacturer of women's shoes, to a company with mass market fashion influence and seven brands.
The Chinese Laundry line began in 1981 and is still a trendsetter in the world of women's fashion footwear. The On Your Feet line was created in 1985 and focuses on a younger demographic interested in more casual footwear.
